Privacy
As social media has taken a huge part in people daily live, the issue of privacy has become more serious. Even though social networking sites like Facebook allows users to change their privacy setting on their own desire, but their information is still searchable in public. Nowadays privacy is too hard to be protected because personal information is too easy to be searched in public. Some states started to talk about that we might need regulations to protect privacy. I hope they will come out with some rules that could really protect privacy, otherwise it would be more serious in the future.

i completely agree, it seems that no matter how much i alter or manipulate my privacy settings on facebook. someone or something seems to be able to find me in some shape or form
ReplyDeleteIt hard to comprehend the dark reality we find ourselves in. The long policies that we often overlook and simply press "agree" to contain serious legal clauses that give companies like Facebook free reign over the information that we post on the internet. Although the legal process may be slow, i hope as well that our government fights for our rights for privacy
