In today's society, social networking affects people's lives in various ways. Social networking provides a place for people to share their thoughts, stories and many other stuffs. People enjoy the benefits from it because it is very easy to access and it saves people a lot of time. The more people involve in the technology dominated world, the more people rely on it. Is it better to "meet up" online or in real person? There is no exact answer to this question. I will find out the pros and cons of each side on my research.

  1. Hi, I'm your classmate Minting. In my opinion, I think social networking is worse, because most people in nowadays are too rely on it. It's good of quickly shares news, but not everything that's on the social networking is true. By comparing better to "meet up" online or in real person, I prefer to meet up in real person, so then we could see each other's emotion rather than "guessing" on the way a person response online to determine his/her emotion.

  2. Hi, minting. Thank you for sharing your opinion. The reason you prefer meeting up in real person is that you don't want to "guess" what others thinking and their emotions. But can you imagine if you are that person, if someone asks you an awkward question and you need sometime to think about how you should reply to that person?

  3. Hi, I am Daniel. We're in the same CIS3810 class. I think social networking is better only after you meet people in person first. That way you can always apply what they're like to what they type.
